Road To Purgatory

This crime novel set in 1940s Chicago is an all-prose sequel to the popular graphic novel, ROAD TO PERDITION, that inspired the 2002 film starring Tom Hanks. As a boy, Michael O`Sullivan, Jr. accompanied his hitman father on a vendetta against the Chicago Mob...and killed the man who, on Al Capone`s orders, murdered his father. Ten years later, that boy has become Michael Satariano, the adopted son of Sicilian-American parents and a World War II hero famed for his deadly accuracy with a weapon.
